What do you think of when you think of a true Scotsman? Ginger? Most definitely. A bit portly? It’s very likely. Big beard? Oh aye. A bit portly? That goes without saying! Tam O’shanter? Yes. And a kilt? That’s a big tick! Put these together and you’ve got the man of the hour! This week’s supplier spotlight is on a many called Jubbly Jock!

Well not exactly! Jubbly Jock is named after the titular character getting himself into mishaps in all of their great products. Hailing from Glasgow, Lorna Dunn is the woman behind Jubbly Jock. She created the plump Scotsman who gets into all sorts of scraps with his dog Harry.

Lorna is a keen hillwalker and gets her inspiration for the scenes from the landscapes around her. Giving Jubbly Jock a wee home in the hills! Lorna's Grandfather spent many hours with Lorna when she was young sharing his gift and love of art with her, as he taught her to paint and draw. This sparked Lorna's love for art and combined with her love of the countryside, she developed the comical character Jubbly Jock.

After creating for her friends and family she was spurred to make Jubbly Jock go public, starting small at local fairs, you can now find Jubbly Jock in Australia! The collection Jubbly Jock himself belongs to is “Hollyrude” popping him into various movies with a Scottish twist!
